I'm not sure if you've noticed but I'm quite fond of places that serves pasta, pizza and anything with tomatoes. I swear I can live on pizza all the days of my life, hah! Anyway, here's another place to visit if you're looking for quality customer service and food that promises authentic Californian kick to it.
California Pizza Kitchen or CPK boasts of its authentic California-style cuisines. |
The CPK branch we visited is located at the second level of Shangri-la Mall in Edsa, Mandaluyong City. The place was kinda small but the atmosphere was surprisingly warm and people are extremely accommodating. We're not that hungry, but wanted to get full. Taking that in consideration, here's what we ordered:
Pepperoni Supremo Pizza P395 - Italian Pomodoro sauce with pepperoni, fresh Mozzarella and Parmesan, topped with fresh herbs. |
Kung Pao Spaghetti (with add-on Chicken) P435.00 - classic Kung Pao sauce with garlic, green onions, peanuts and hot red chilies. |
Their Kung Pao pasta strongly reminded me of Yellow Cab's Charlie Chan and though it's delicious (I love the fact that it's got chillies), I still prefer Charlie Chan, haha. The pizza was great, I enjoyed it.

With my Raspberry iced tea (P105.00) and my companion's green mango shake (P175.00), and roughly around 9% service charge -- we spent a total of P1,209.11.
There's a bar inside CPK if you want to get some drinks. |
When I checked their menu, I saw some really interesting dishes I can't wait to try! |
CPK is one place I will definitely visit again. It's one of the most respected and recognized casual dining restos in the country, and with their good food and friendly ambiance, they certainly can make your dining experience both pleasant and satisfying.
Have you dined at CPK before? Tell me about your experience on the comments' section below. Thanks for reading and until my next wandering!
